In the high hills of Sausalito, California, you'll find Enrique Barrios listening to his vast collection of obscure psychedelic folk vinyl while tinkering away on a new identity system, packaging design, zine, or illustrating stories from his childhood adventures.

Enrique was born in Juarez, Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of nine. As a Gun's N' Roses t-shirt wearing kid, Enrique found it hard to find his footing at first in the U.S. He excelled in the arts. From an early age, he was involved in various theatre programs and would always find his moment of zen through a pencil and paper where he could draw for hours at a time.

After graduating high school, Enrique moved to San Diego where he began his formal graphic design studies under the direction of Candice Lopez at San Diego City College. Later, transferring to Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he graduated with honors and a B.A. in Graphic Design.
